Beskrivelse
The research group on Sustainable Tourism conducts research and RD projects in the nexus between social, economic and cultural sustainability, tourism and transformative economies. The research group was established in 2014 and has since then obtained several externally funded projects and participated in 5 external consultancy projects. The researchers in the group publish on a regular basis, and have since the establishment published several articles, of which 6 in high-ranking international journals. In addition the group has published two reports and several conference papers. Lately the group, in relation to the 2017 UN year for Sustainable Tourism, established a blog on the topic of Sustainable Tourism at www.forskning.no, and in September 2017 the research group will host the scientific conference “North Atlantic Forum 2017” (http://itfag.usn.no/konferanse/) with more than 70 expected presenters and key notes.
