Idretts- og helsepsykologi

Beskrivelse

Forskergruppen i Idretts- og helsepsykologi er en nyetablert forskergruppe som prioriterer anvendt og relevant forskning som særlig er rettet mot unge som går på skole eller er under utdanning. Gruppen har også forskningsaktivitet om arbeid, helse og sykefravær som er relevant for lærerstudenter, ansatte og ledere i skole og barnehage. Aktuelle forskningsområder: - Læring, helse og trivsel blant studenter - Stress, mestring, kognitiv kapasitet/prestasjon og bruk av kognitive teknikker for å fremme læring, idrettsprestasjon og skoleprestasjon - Undersøkelse av risikofaktorer og beskyttende faktorer, samt utvikling og evaluering av ulike tiltak/undervisningsmetoder med fysisk aktivitet/trening/idrett/kroppsøving - Mestring og forventning til arbeid, helse og uhelse - Forskning på og for lærerprofesjonene, inkludert ansatte i barnehager. Dette er tradisjonelle kvinnearbeidsplasser med mye helseplager og høyt sykefravær. - Forskning og undervisning rettet mot denne gruppen antas å kunne bidra til å forebygge og redusere risikoen for langvarig sykefravær og utstøting fra arbeidslivet.
