About
I developed my competences in psychology and in family therapy. I started out being interested in experimental psychology and in quantitative methods. I ended up focusing on two main topics: emotional development (especially in childhood) and situations where an individual experiences challenges/impairments (e.g. autistic spectrum disorder). I tried to integrate qualitative and quantitative methods. In my research projects and in my teaching with students, during my PhD and Post Doc, I was inspired by the positive psychology approach (especially subjective wellbeing). This approach continues to play an important role in my work as family therapist (systemic approach).
