Professor of music therapy. Director of CREMAH (Center for Research in Music and Health) at The Norwegian Academy of Music from August 2017. Involved in several research projects, the biggest one as country lead of the EU-project "HOMESIDE: Home-based caregiver-delivered music and reading interventions for people living with dementia. A randomised controlled trial" (www.homesidestudy.eu). Main findings was published in The Lancet's eClinicalMedicine: DOI:https://doi.org/10.1016/j.eclinm.2023.102224 Held a post doc position in the interdisciplinary research project RHYME (www.rhyme.no) about music, health, technology, and design. Has had various teaching and lecturing assignments on music therapy and on music and health. Various assignments as a sensor and supervisor at all levels (bachelor, master and PhD). Experience with commission work (including doctoral and master's degrees, as well as promotion and appointment). Active presenting and also communicating in the media and some. Long experience as a music therapist with children and adolescents with complex needs. Illustrator in the Norwegian journal Music Therapy.
