About
Sabine Ruths graduated with a medical degree from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, in 1985. She defended her PhD thesis in 2004 «Drug utilisation quality in nursing homes». Currently she holds a 50% position as professor at the University of Bergen, and a 50% position at NORCE Norwegian Research Centre. Her research interests include, pharmacoepidemiology, drug prescribing quality, nursing home medicine, depression, hip fracture and end-of-life care. She acquired clinical speciality in family medicine in 2006 and has working as a general practitioner for 15 years.
