Description

The group works with research and development on new teaching methods and learning technologies in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Education at HIOA. The participating programs include ICT, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, energy & environmental technology, applied mathematics and science teacher education.
The goal of the group is to provide the best possible engineer and science teacher education using varying teaching methods and learning technologies, and qualify the participating departments at HiOA for a center of excellence in education.
The results will be published in high quality journals and conferences in STEM education. The group aims to build collaboration with educational research groups and learning technology suppliers.
